An uneventful week

As the title says, there's not much to talk about this week ๐
This week's progress
This week was rather busy for me. ๐
Lot to do at my day job, and the weekend was also unexpectedly full...
I did get some work done for the next update (v0.3.0), but it was less progress than I hoped ๐ญ
I also looked a bit into animation software, since I'd love to make some simple animations for Orange Smash (either directly in the game, or just as complementary material).
I have no experience with making animations though, so it will be lot to learn ๐
Currently thinking about getting either Moho Pro 14 or Spine 2D Pro. Have been trying out their trials little by little, and both have their pros and cons. They're both pretty expensive though ๐
Though, compared to some of the other options out there, they're actually pretty affordable (and not subscription-based)!
Release schedule for public version
I have been thinking a lot about how to time the release of the public version of a new update. One the one hand, I do want to reward my Patrons for their support, so there should be some gap between the Patreon release and the public release. On the other hand, I don't want the public release to lag behind too much, especially since currently, it takes me about 4-6 weeks to get a new content update out.
A simple way would be to do it like some other hentai game devs handle it:
The Patreon version is one version ahead of the public version.
This makes it very simple to manage the different versions. But it would mean that the public version would lag behind quite a bit.
Which is why, at least for the public release of v0.2.0, I want to handle it this way:
The public version releases 2-3 weeks after the Patreon version.
This means: Public release of v0.2.0 will be next weekend!
I think this is a good compromise. This release schedule might change in future, but at least for v0.2.0, I want to do it this way.
